1st inning: Scherzer (Phillies) mows down the AL in the 1st with a 1,2, 3 inning and 2 Ks. Carrasco (White Sox) was as fortunate in the bottom half. Gonzalez (Cubs) leads off with a bomb to left. Blackmon (Cubs) singles and scores on a Ozuna (Phillies) double. The NL gets a single from Gallo (Rangers) and then anothor RBI double. This time off the bat of Bour (DBacks). NL 4 - AL 0

2nd inning: Ramirez (Angels) ambushes a Scherzer fast ball for a solo homer, but that is all they get. The hot NL answers with singles from Castro (DBacks) and Blackmon. Ozuna drives them both in with a 2 run single. NL 6 - AL 1

3rd inning: The AL gets their bats going with one out. Altuve (Blue Jays) doubles and scores on a Trout (Mariners) single. Trout steals 2nd and 3rd and is driven in by Freeman's (Braves) single. The NL will have nothing of it. Bour leads off with a single, Castro is hit by a pitch, Gonazlez singles, and Blackmon's ground out plates one. Martinez (Cardinals) steps up and crushes a 3 run shot. NL 10 - AL 3

4th inning: Comeback? The AL gets a double from Conforto (Braves). He would hit 3 doubles in the game. Rosario (Angels) smashes a 2 run shot. Nunez (Mariners) starts it back up with a single and scores on Trout's 2 run blast. The AL is within 3 run 10-7. Gonzalez (Braves) comes in to pitch and try to hold the NL down. A lead off walk looks like will to waste until back to back doubles from Gattis (Twins) and Castro score 2. NL 12 - AL 7

5th inning: The NL gets a guy on with an error and Ozuna is at it again with his 3rd hit. This time it is a RBI double. NL 13 - AL 7

8th inning: Votto (Reds) and Posey (Giants) single and Votto scores on a Gennett (Brewers) single. Yelich (Rangers) drives in another on a RBI ground out. NL 15 - AL 7

9th inning: Chapman (Reds) comes in and gives up singles to Gyork (Padres) and Judge (Yankee), but strikes out Bradley (Padres) to end tis high scoring affair.

Marcell Ozuna (Phillies) is named All Star MVP with a 3-4 day and 2 doubles and 4 RBIs
